About the SPCA of Northern Nevada

The SPCA, founded in 1998, is Reno's original no-kill animal shelter. Our mission is to be an innovative regional leader in responsible treatment of homeless cats and dogs, primarily through their rescue and placement in forever loving homes and by promoting spaying and neutering to control pet over population. We accomplish our mission with dedication to our core values and a lifetime commitment to our animals.

Shelter Hours: 7 days a week 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Thrift Store Hours: Mon. – Sat. 9 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. & Sun. 12 – 3:45 p.m.
Thrift Store II Hours: Mon. – Fri. 11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Sat. 9 a.m. – 4:45 p.m., & Sun. 12 – 3:45 p.m.
Vaccination Clinic: Sat & Sun 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. (By Appointment Only)
